Once we find out we will let everyone know, but we have decided to keep name choices to ourselves. Suggestions are welcome and will be considered- but let's keep everything positive.

Gender Check
The first week of February, (NEXT WEEK) Ryan and I will find out if we are having a boy or a girl. We have been a bit torn about which one we would prefer and we haven't had "inklings" or "feelings" about which one it is. Honestly, as long as everyone comes out happy and healthy it will be a success.

How very exciting!
I'm thinking boy, but I'm not sure why. I guess I have a 50/50 chance, right? Either way is wonderful!!!!
Some baby name tips I thought might be helpful, or at least amusing...
Think about your child's future email address. Peter Enis sounds lovely, until one day his company assigns him a work email address that becomes Penis@thiscompany.com
Play the rhyme game to make sure that kids on the playground won't be able to. Jinx, Stinks. Brody is grody. Nelly is smelly. You get the idea. Any questions, just run the name by an 8-year-old boy and see what he comes up with
Consider your kid's initials. Corey Oliver Weber may not appreciate being called a cow.
Think about your kid's future career. That name on a resume can and does make a difference studies say. Names like "Ish," "Congratulashayla," and "Pornwadee" make employers say, "Don't call us ..."
Don't name your kid after a pet. Sooner or later someone will tell you they have a dog with the same name as your kid no matter what it is, but going with something like King, Spike, or Bandit is going to up the frequency significantly.
Hope these are helpful. Congrats on the baby boy!
Desiree
