Ugh. Today I just wish I could return to my pre-preggers body for one day.

We have been taking pictures each Sunday (which I will try to post sometime- but I don't understand Ryan's camera, and honestly I am not sure I want everyone to see) and measuring the diameter of my tummy. In the past three weeks we have gained an inch and a half. I am already getting tired of my 3 changes of pants and I am now big enough that everyone wants to touch me. That is the weirdest part- I have never had the urge to randomly lay my hands on some woman's stomach without asking or even knowing her.

Gender Check

The first week of February, (NEXT WEEK) Ryan and I will find out if we are having a boy or a girl. We have been a bit torn about which one we would prefer and we haven't had "inklings" or "feelings" about which one it is. Honestly, as long as everyone comes out happy and healthy it will be a success.

Once we find out we will let everyone know, but we have decided to keep name choices to ourselves. Suggestions are welcome and will be considered- but let's keep everything positive.

Widget Update

In an attempt to get our baby stuff off of Facebook we are going to try to update family and friends on this blog.

So far everything is going fine. The three questions we are answering the most often include-

1# Was this a surprise? A: No. As an event planner I pretty much had only a few months this year I could take off that wouldn't create a big hassle for me and my office, so we counted backwards a couple months and got really lucky.

2# Did you have bad morning sickness? A: Nope, hardly any. Maybe next time will be terrible to make up for it.

3# Are you moving into a two bedroom apartment? A: Nope we are going to make it work for the first year in our one bedroom apartment with beautiful hardwood floors that is only two blocks from Target AND the metro. Ryan and I are very resourceful so we are pretty sure we can make it happen.

It's Official!

Ryan and I announced over the Winter Holiday that we are expecting our first child in June. We had been talking about starting a family for awhile and once our jobs had stabilized we felt that it was time.
